Carb choices this week:-
Sweet Potato & Butternut Squash Mash (to be made still.)
Brown Pasta.
I have decided to change things up from my usual carb sources of brown rice & quinoa and sweet potato as I have notice the high sodium contained in the microwaveable rice has made me pretty bloated, resulting in me holding a lot of water weight.
Good carb sources are key to a balance healthy diet. Firstly don't neglect carbs as said before, unless you are on a Paleo diet or something along those lines. Good carbs will give you all the right, minerals, vitamins and most importantly a fuller feeling, and consistent energy throughout the day. Thus keeping your metabolism at a constant and efficient level. So there will be no drop of energy at midday and feeling like you want to sleep all afternoon at work.
