A short clip from yesterday's back session.
In my hypertrophy week, its all about volume, steady with the reps and not burning out to early. There is a lot to get through 😬😷.
In this clip, doing bent over rows, at the same weight for:- 10,12,15,15, burn out set, burn out set and burnout set. Dropping the weight by 2.5 or 5kg after the last 15 rep set.
40 second rest in between or if you are training with your gym buddy go straight after he / she is finished. 💪🏻
For back day in my hypertrophy week, the other thing I focus on is working on one of my weak points, this being my lower back.
The way I hit this part of my back is alternating grips, from overhand to underhand. The underhand grip gives you a greater stretch for your whole lat when doing lat pull downs for example. You can apply this technique to other back exercises, pull ups, bent over rows, seated row and so on.
